🤔What is BTF🤔

BTF - The story, TLDR we started BTF as a response to Gaslighting. A lack of data led people to posit the very existence of a Black Tech Community🤔

Well we found out that less than 5% of Ai professionals in London are black👀

We responded with pockets of data but then just said, how about we bring the community together and show everyone it exists😮

 So it's super important that people are there and that's why we still have free tickets for the event too still available❤️

And yes if you aren't Black, Everyone is invited

😮What is different this year 😮

• 1 Day - BTF used to be across three day's but we are putting it all on one day so it is a date for the diary DO NOT MISS IT - October 10 

• New Venue - We've moved out of south east and gone to Tottenham

• 10x Bigger - Drumsheds is 10x bigger than our old venue, so we're going bigger too

• After party - THEEE (yes the Megan "THEEE" stallion "THEEE") biggest request we had from last year was to keep it going so this year we've booked DJ's and musicians to make our after party THEE event for BHM

Overview of the AI Upskilling Fund: 

Eligible businesses are invited to apply for funding to cover up to 50% of the cost of upskilling employees in AI. Funding can be put towards many different types of training, as suits an applicant’s business need. There is no minimum value for an application, which mean a business could claim anywhere from £1-10,000, depending on its size.  

Due to the recent election announcement, we have taken the decision to extend the application deadline from 31 May 2024 to 18 August 2024.
